Driving Miss Daisy

Spent an hour yesterday afternoon visiting Auntie M who continues to make incredible progress after her stroke. She has come a long way in a month, and is doing great.  Boys 2 and 3 (of 3) came with me and, because it was such a nice afternoon, we kidnapped said Auntie for a while.

In 49 + 1 years I have never had occasion to push anyone in a wheelchair (is that bad?) but we had a pleasant spin around the grounds of the hospital, taking in some rays and enjoying the trees and grounds.  Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but it was an emotional experience for us both and I’m glad we did it.

Next time – wheelies!
